Size estimates for nanoplates

چکیده
Abstract We consider the problem of determining, within an elastic isotropic nanoplate in bending, possible presence inclusion made different material. Under suitable a priori assumptions on unknown inclusion, we provide quantitative upper and lower estimates for area defect terms works exerted by boundary data when is present it absent.

Preparation of size-selective Mn3O4 hexagonal nanoplates with superior electrochemical properties for pseudocapacitors.
Porous Mn3O4 hexagonal nanoplates were synthesized through annealing the hydrohausmannite precursor obtained by a one-pot hydrothermal process and by precisely controlling the concentrations of potassium hydroxide and glucose. The effect of potassium hydroxide and glucose on the growth of hexagonal nanoplates was investigated, and a growth mechanism was also proposed. Due to its abundant pores,...
متن کاملColloidal synthesis of greigite nanoplates with controlled lateral size for electrochemical applications.
The excellent electrochemical performance of greigite (Fe3S4) coupled with its vast abundance and low toxicity make it a good prospect as an anode material for lithium ion batteries (LIBs). In this research, a simple and feasible approach for producing pure phase, small sized, shape-controllable, and stable Fe3S4 nanoplates (NPs) through hot injection of sulfur solution into Fe(iii) solution wa...
متن کاملSample Size Planning 1 Running Head : Sample Size Planning Sample Size Planning with Effect Size Estimates
The use of effect size estimates in planning the sample size necessary for a future study can introduce substantial bias in the sample size planning process. For instance, the uncertainty associated with the effect size estimate may result in average statistical power that is substantially lower than the nominal power specified in the calculation. The present manuscript examines methods for inc...
متن کاملModels for Improving Software System Size Estimates during Development
This paper addresses the challenge of estimating eventual software system size during a development project. The approach is to build a family of estimation models that use information about architectural design characteristics of the evolving software product as leading indicators of system size. Four models were developed to provide an increasingly accurate size estimate throughout the design...
